Dr. Kirkland( Brian) Is amazing!!! He goes above and beyond the call of duty! He has awesome nurses that work with him , I feel very comfortable knowing my children (age 5 & 10 , 18 , and now grown son ) are & were seen by a doctor that cares for them as if they were his own! We recently moved to Jacksonville and I still drive the hour it takes for my kids to see him in Starke. Office is always clean and neat.
So last Tuesday (July 18), I went in for an appointment about medical concerns as a new patient and transfer, as my family and I just moved. They were super nice, and Dr. Sharma and Alicia were amazing and friendly. Dr. Sharma was very thorough with explanations of things, helping me understand the whole thing very well. The thing is, they told me that I would be able to pick up my prescription the same day from Publix and that I will get a call from Shands about my blood work (fantastic lady who drew my blood, unfortunately don't remember her name) within three days, by Friday. Needed to get some things from Publix, so when I went, I immediately talked to the prescription desk employees. Created my account, and they told me they would send a text when my prescription is available for pickup. After Publix on Tuesday, I went home without my prescription due to no text yet. Today is now Saturday. I have gotten neither a call nor text about anything. I'm in a bit of a time crunch and need to know what I need to do for my health and need my prescription soon. On Monday, I will definitely be calling to ask what's up, I need my prescription and whether I need a lot of medical attention or simply a shot and done. The fact that I need to call them when I was reassured I would receive a call from them is why I have a problem, plus my prescription is still, after four days, not ready to pick up.
Dr.Bamzai is a great pediatrician for a child of a first time mother. He accepts any and every question that you may have and answers with respect instead of talking down to you for asking a dumb question. I have asked him probably every single question in the book and taken my baby in for something as simple as allergies or just to be cautious and he has never treated me like I'm wasting his time.
Dr. Brown is by far the best Dr. She goes above and beyond to make sure my girls are healthy and really don't mind sending them to specialist to cross every T and dot Every I, I absolutely love her and so do my girls.
Dr. Kevin McBride is wonderful. The nursing staff is wonderful. My nephew first started seeing Dr. Carl Easton, and at that time Dr. Kevin McBride was shadowing Dr. Carl so it has been 17 years that he has been a patient and he loved Dr. Carl and has been a long time patient of Dr. Kevin's. I love that he takes the time and talks to him. When checking in yesterday, I was told the appointment was at 1:15 pm was there at 1:10 pm. was informed his appt wasn't until 2:30 pm (family emergency so I had taken him to the appt.) so I said ok well, we are here and had a seat. At 2:20 pm another staff member asked we had checked in and I told her yes but we where early that we had been there since 1:10 pm. They where not busy or slammed. I understand because I have worked in the medical field for over 15 years but the nephew had to see the doctor but I could of been at the hospital seeing about his mother where I needed to be instead of seating in the waiting room. We where the ONLY people sitting in the waiting room and was there for 1 hours and 10 minutes. Again, WE LOVE DR. KEVIN MCBRIDE and we would wait forever to see him
