Wish I could put no stars. I'll begin with the following... My wife went in and took my son (the patient) to see this doctor for a knee injury that my son incurred at his job. When she went in, she said some of the staff was very unprofessional almost as if they were trying to get my son to say that he received his injury by horse playing at his Job. My son kept telling them no but I guess they just made their own assumption. Then they go in to see the doctor only to find that he has an attitude problem. My son again explains that he received the injury at his job. Then the doctor makes a smart remark by saying oh kids work at your age??? Where I come from kids don't work! I came to find out that he came from New York which pretty much explains the dumb attitude. Funny thing is that I'm from New york too and I can act just as foolish so I told my wife no worries cause I will be going with you to see him again.

I took my brother to Dr. Ottey and Starke Hospital (both places full of the nicest folks you will ever meet ) when he broke his lower left leg in 2 places. Dr. Ottey operated immediately and explained every step. He was completely professional. Went in depth and saw my brother in the office every week for the next 3 weeks.

The folks in the office were so helpful and always had a smile on their faces. Each and every one. Jason was very helpful with his directions and every nurse in the office went above and beyond to make a painful experience as pleasant as possible. My brother praised them to me and loved the exchange of jokes and laughs. If you break something, go here. They will have you back together in no time.
On the next appt. when I went there, it was kind of funny because I didn't witness an attitude. The doctor sat down and explained a crap load of B.S. and since I worked in law enforcement, I got really good at reading people. He tells me that my insurance does not cover the procedure and that no one within a 100 mile radius can take my insurance and he tried getting me to apply for additional insurance so he could refer me to another doctor because he said he doesn't do the surgery anymore. So I side line him and tell him to give me someone past the 100 mile radius and I tell them that I will go as far as 300 miles to go to take car of my sons injury. Then they replied ummmm we don't know anyone outside 100 miles that I would have to find them myself. I laughed and said ok, no problem. I found my son a very good doctor with great reviews only 30 miles away and takes the same insurance. we have since seen his new doctor twice and he's going in for surgery by the middle of this month.
