Good rooms at the cheapest rates in town, or the immediate area. One eighty a week, whereas the next closest is just north in Lawtey at two twenty a week. The owner is a bit much to deal with sometimes, as there is a language barrier that seems to aggravate him in extended conversation. Overall quiet, right on the main highway though, so there's never trouble afoot since law enforcement regularly passes through the night. There's an RV campground in the rear of the property, and it is a quiet neighborhood unto itself.
It's on 301 in Starke, Florida. It's has very poor service. The owner is very rude. The pluming is terrible. Toielet don't hardly flush. Both of the hot and cold shower faucets leak and shoot out hot and cold water on u and faucets to the sink doesn't have any water pressure. Hardly any of the room have microwaves in them.
The manager/owner is fricking crazy. Plus it is nasty.
Very nice place. Owner operated. Extremely nice people. Motel, campground and entire facility well kept.
I arrived here to sleep for the night. The next morning the owners were so kind to give a good rate so that I could stay the week. The furnishings in the room weren't the best or new, but I found it a clean, sufficient, and affordable place.
