Worst hospital ever! I came to get an ultrasound to make sure my baby is okay and they had me waiting hours. Mind you there was no one else in the ER. They were just too busy talking and not working!
I recently had outpatient surgery and I'm thankful nothing serious because the staff does not work as a team and I was lied to just to appease me. They gossiped and only cared about getting out of there early because it was Friday. I received no respect as a patient or the family member with me.
My grandfather had pancreatitis. The ER doctor wanted to send him to Gainesville but the resident doctor said he can stay at Starke. On the 5th day I had to request his bloodied sheets to be changed. Most but not all of the nurses were apathetic. It didn't appear that anything was being done until I started complaining. I could hear him coughing as if he had pneumonia. When he got home he didn't seem any better. They made him pay 90,000 when they didn't do anything to help him.
WENT TO ER TODAY WAS IN AND OUT WITHIN 3HRS HAD 3 BREATHING TREATMENT CHEST XRYS AND A SHOT THE STAFF AND DR. WAS GREAT
I have been to a lot of emergency rooms over the years and I have never had a better experience than I had here. Last Sunday I was there due to a broken hand and ALL the staff were amazing. I was in and out in about an hour even with having to have xrays. Thank you for your service's.
