As McDonald's go, this one is average and decent. The staff is usually pretty pleasant and the food is usually pretty fresh. This is a pretty busy location and so nothing stays on the warmer plates long. The inside is clean and has a bit of a malt shop era look to it, and the bathroom has always been clean when I've been in here. The only complaints that I would have would be that it is hit and miss with the cooks. Some of the cooks are spot on and everything is great and then some of the cooks have and tendency to overcook and underseason everything. During the miss cooks, the fries will be so overcooked as to be brown and almost no salt on them, bacon will be fried to the point of being inedible and jerky like, and burgers will be built very sloppy and you may or may not get it made the way it was ordered. However, when you have the good cooks, everything will be made to order and cooked exactly as it should be and it's great. I get a chocolate shake with a caramel drizzle fairly often because this is one of the few locations that I have found where they drizzle around the inside of the cup and then across the top after they add the shake (which is how it should be done). This is the only place in this area that makes my shake and it is the bomb! The sonics up the road (who specializes in shakes) has never been able to figure it out.
This location sucks! Especially third shift. I am a local bartender and I really don’t have a choice after work for something quick to eat. They are almost always rude, and 7 out of 10 times they get my order wrong or if it’s right I have to wait forever. I have tried to take my complaints to the manager and she is rude and just wants to give me store credit. Why would I want store credit when you’re not fixing the problem you are just trying to pacify me
We visited after the Hurricane Irma and there was a limited menú. Given the constraints and stress the staff was pleasant and quick, the food was hot and as expected. I really loved the jukebox they had and the music that was playing, great atmosphere!
Didn't see salads on the automated menu board. Perhaps they were there but it was not a parent. Other McDonald's actually bring you the order but this one you wait till your number is called.
Kudos to this staff. This place was BUSY. 5 deep at the registers, drive through packed. Still a well oiled machine. This place should be the training site for some of the Jacksonville stores.
For a fast food chain service was anything but fast.
